Prayer Guide for Sunday, August 16, 2026 

1. Thank God for a joy that neither circumstances of need nor abundance can steal from your life.
   
2. Pray that your heart would not be tempted toward discontent through a pursuit of worldly cravings.
   
3. Ask God to teach you the secret of biblical contentment so you can more faithfully follow Jesus.
   
4. Pray that God would give you opportunities and boldness to share the hope of Jesus with those around you so they might know His grace in their lives.
5. Pray for the teachers and leaders of our TBC discipleship ministry. Ask God to bless their study, preparation, and leadership. Pray that God would bring more families to TBC through the community and growth opportunities of our discipleship relationships and programs.
   
6. Pray for our Discipleship and Missions Pastor Search Committee. Ask God to give them wisdom and discernment. Pray that the Spirit would lead them to the man He has chosen for TBC.
