Some specifics about the city of Lubbock...
With a population of roughly 254,000, well over half of the residents are affiliated with some form of religion; yet, less than 20% are affiliated with an evangelical church. Similarly, 21% of the city's population lives within the poverty line. By God's grace The Dream Center is able to serve 1,600 people weekly, as well as provide 300 young ladies with prom dresses and 500 families with Thanksgiving meals each year.

Our students will also invite college students to a March Madness Kickoff Viewing Party for fellowship and an opportunity to connect The Oaks Church members with guests. We will also devote some time to service projects within the community in order to build the reputation of The Oaks Church in their Jerusalem.

Some specifics about the city of Cincinnati...
13.7% of the 2 million residents in the metro area are affiliated with an evangelical church, and more than half of the city's residents do not affiliate with a religion of any kind. While the city is a cultural melting pot with many religions represented among the populace, the area of Cincinnati that we will be serving in is predominantly Catholic and more accurately described as Catholic skeptics.
