Melissa Raleigh has been serving at TBC as Interim Children’s director since May of 2022. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Reading Specialist. She has taught for 38 years and retired in 2015. She loves her church and started working under the Children’s Minister in 2015. In this transition God has opened the door to use her in helping with Children’s Ministry. Teaching children and feeding children God’s word has been a joy in her life. Melissa has a wonderful husband Rusty , two beautiful daughters, and amazing “son in loves”. Averi, Michael, Addison and John have blessed Melissa and Rusty with three grandchildren. Melissa enjoys creating new ideas to do in the Children’s Ministry, spending time with her grandchildren and family, and learning more about God.
